This reloadable card, which anyone can avail since it has no age-limit and pre-medical requirements, comes with benefits and privileges for the convenience of its owners. Cardholders automatically enjoy a fixed consultation rate and a 20 percent discount on selected procedures in all Healthway clinics. They would also get substantial savings on inpatient services. They are also entitled to a P350 hospital daily income benefit and P5000 benefit insurance in case of accidental death or permanent disability, and even get a free ambulance service twice a year.
But what makes the Medi-Access card a cut above the rest is its partnership with Pilipinas 911 and PhilLife for its ambulance and insurance services, respectively.
Cardholders are also entitled to discounts for any surgical procedures done in any of Healthway’s affiliated hospitals and clinics.
What’s more, the card is also transferrable. The cardholder can opt to share his or her Medi-Access card with any friend or relative in need of urgent medical attention.
